While physical formats remain a vital part of the medium, Walton believed that technological advancement would fundamentally transform the way comics and graphic novels are created, distributed, and experienced.

The company launched with its debut title, DÆMONIC — a crowdfunded project built in collaboration with creators from across the globe, focused on delivering top-quality digital content. DÆMONIC remains a cornerstone of the Underscæpe catalogue and a proof of concept for what independent digital publishing can achieve.
